Description
This is a large overcoat, modeled after the one used by aviators, at the beginning of the 19th century for the first probing transatlantic flights. Originally, it came in leather with a sheepskin lining to protect the pilots from the cold. Furthermore it has a very large front chest pocket, in which navigational papers were kept. A practical addition, allowing one to carry ones’ possessions with grace and poise. Finally, it comes with a removable sheepskin collar.
FABRIC:
A wonderful surface, constructed from 100% Alpagota Lamb Wool, just like our faithful Piave. However we elaborated it slightly with a Damier pattern, which comes in several colour options. Allowing the wearer to pair it easily with his wardrobe.
